Children will be set homework by their class teacher when necessary. Children are expected to read regularly at home and practise any spellings or times tables they have been set in class.

In EYFS children are given a phonics book to practise every day for a few minutes, along with letter and sounds books.  We encourage children to re-read books so that they become familiar with a wide range of vocabulary.

Remember to visit the library for additional books and don't forget to take part in the Summer Reading Challenge during the school summer holiday.
