CHARGING AND REMISSIONS

The Governing Body recognises the valuable contribution that the wide range of additional activities, including clubs, trips and residential experiences can make towards pupils’ personal and social education.

 

The Governing Body aims to promote and provide such activities both as part of a broad and balanced curriculum for the pupils of the school and as additional optional activities.

 

When an activity is arranged, either in school or outside the school, parents will be asked to make a voluntary contribution towards the cost of the activity.  If the school does not receive enough voluntary contributions to make the activity viable, then it may have to be cancelled.  The school will endeavour to ensure that every child is able to take part in an activity whether a voluntary contribution is made or not.
